Salsa Garden

Welcome to my salsa garden! Today I’m going to show you my DIY garden signs and how I use them in my salsa garden. Not only that, you (my very favorite readers) also get to check out a behind the scenes look of my veggie garden and tomato garden. How exciting!

Let’s start with my chalk-tastic DIY garden signs. I got these on clearance for $1 (I know, shut the front door!). They are framed with a rustic dark metal…
As you can see below, I hung these adorable chalkboard signs on mini Shepard hooks that I got from the dollar store. I used rustic twine and tied them with a bow. Who doesn’t love a bow? In my salsa garden, I have cilantro and a variety of spicy green and red peppers in a raised bed.

Next to the salsa garden, of course, is a tomato garden! These two are a match made in salsa heaven! My tomatoes are still babies, but aren’t they cute?

Finally, I have a veggie garden, which my toddlers LOVE (not). The veggie garden is also a raised bed of beautifulness. We have zucchini, yellow squash, onions, and edamame.
Vegetable Garden
I know that I showed you the sunflowers and baby artichoke plants last week in THIS POST, and here you can see them again! On the right there is lavender, and on the left is my salsa garden, veggie garden, and tomato garden. Way out in the back are some baby sunflowers and artichoke plants. We also have a chicken coop with antique white windows (the original windows to the house). But, I have yet to buy chicks. They are the cutest things EVER, but I’m a little timid of what to expect with them. If you have any tips with raising chickens, I’d love to hear from you!

If you’d like to see more of my home, check me out over at +Mandy Rose‘s blog, House of Rose, where I give you the DIY details on how to use the materials shown below to make these mason jar garden markers. I use them for all of the fruit trees that reach beyond my raised bed garden:
