DIY Santa Hat Candle for Christmas! How to make an adorable holiday candle that can beautifully add to your holiday decor. The top of the hat is a gorgeous red candle that will be the center of attention wherever you nestle it in your home.

Supplies:
- Red candle
- Candle plate
- Santa hat
- Embellishments (consider looking in the scrapbooking aisle!)
- Hot glue
- Scissors
Tip
You can most likely find all of the supplies at any craft store or even the dollar store!
Instructions:
Begin by cutting the white edge off of your Santa hat. It’s easiest if you unroll the hat and cut it while it is inside out (as seen in the video above).
Now it’s time to fit the white fuzzy material to your candle holder. I cut the white fabric strip in half.

Using a glue gun (or any glue of your choice), attach the white fabric to your candle plate. It helps if the candle holder has a bit of an edge, but, you can make any candle plate work!
Finally, create a festive embellishment to attach to your Santa hat! I found this cute holly and poinsettias near the scrapbooking aisle at my craft store. Be creative! Any Christmas embellishment will look adorable on the hat!
Place the red candle on the plate and light the wick. The cute little holiday touch really makes an ordinary red candle come to life!

Instructions
- Cut the white fabric edge off of your Santa hat
- Cut the length of the white fabric in half
- Trim the fabric strip according to the circumference of your candle holder
- Hot glue the white fabric to the candle holder
- Create a festive embellishment (I used paper holly and a paper poinsettia)
- Glue the embellishment onto the white fabric
- Place the red candle on the candle holder, light the wick, and enjoy!
