Happy Trails to You Trail Mix Printable and Containers
Raise your hand if school is almost out and you’re ready for some fun in the sun? Us too!!
Some of a kid’s best memories will come from summer. That last day of school where you run out of class and feel the freedom of schedule-less days, that first cannon ball into the pool, the sunkissed skin and the sand on our toes……
Summer is awesome!
Whether you have sports camps coordinated or no plans on the calendar, today’s fun craft & printable is perfect for any kid excited about the end of the school year. To me, trail mix signifies spending time outdoors and letting mother nature do the entertaining (as opposed to the technology that we love, but sometimes need a lil’ break from). Add in some Nature ValleyTM Protein Granola, and you have yourself a perfect little end-of-year gift to hand out to friends.
To assemble your own Happy Trails To You trail mix containers, you will need:
- 2 oz. plastic containers with lids
- Double-sided tape
- Oats ‘n Dark Chocolate Nature ValleyTM Protein Granola
- Peanuts
- Miniature marshmallows
- Miniature chocolate chips
- Happy Trails To You printable
Not only is this easy trail mix recipe fun to make, it is so tasty and perfect for a little snack on the go. It is perfect to hand out on for the last day of school or even after a day at sports camp. Kids adore trail mix and we love giving out snacks that kids munch up quickly! Nature ValleyTM Protein Granola is a delicious versatile product that can be added on top of many other foods or used as an ingredient. So, to assemble each of these cute snack containers, have your kids add:
- One tablespoon of Oats n’ Dark Chocolate Nature ValleyTM Protein Granola
- 3-4 mini marshmallows
- About 5 peanuts
- One teaspoon on mini chocolate chips
To print the Happy Trails to You labels, click the image below. Then, click the printer button at the top of the next screen. Simply cut out the printables (they come in a variety of different colors), and attach them with double-sided tape to the lids of the plastic containers.
The trail mix has just a little crunch, a little sweetness, and a hint of salt. I love that the containers make it easy to pass out to friends or pack as a quick grab-and-go snack.
Happy summer, friends! We can wait to play all day and soak up the laughter-filled-freedom before the new school year starts!
