Making Fabric Flowers

Written and Photographed by Katie of Made to Be a Momma

I have a super fun and simple craft for you today! It’s perfect for the beautiful blossoms that are finally going to be appearing!  All you need is some small pieces of fabric and a burlap canvas.

Materials:

  • Fabric
  • Sewing machine or needle and thread
  • Burlap canvas

steps

1. Cut out 6 circles from your desired fabric

2.  Using your sewing machine, baste stitch around the edge of your circle ( You can also hand stitch this)

3.  Grab one of your threads and pull on the thread until your fabric begins to gather.  Continue to gather your fabric until it forms a small circle.

4.  Cut small leaves out of  some green felt and attach them to your yo yo flowers.  Hot glue your flowers to your canvas.
