How to make a Wash Cloth Bunny! These are also known as boo-boo bunnies and you can put ice cubes in them to help soothe a child’s boo-boo (so cute!). They are easy, quick, and inexpensive to make. See the video tutorial at the bottom of this post:)

Since spring is approaching, Walmart had cute pastel-colored washcloths for just about a dollar each. So perfect! Consider checking the dollar store too.

How to make Wash Cloth Bunnies - great for Easter! They are also called boo boo bunnies and you can put ice cubes in them to help soothe boo boos!

Supplies Needed:

  1. Washcloth (any size, they just need to be square)
  2. Hair tie or rubber band
  3. Ribbon
  4. Googly eyes
  5. Pom poms for the tail & nose
  6. Glue or hot glue (if you want to attach eyes, tail, and nose)

Place the washcloth in a diamond shape in front of you. Tightly roll up one corner to the center. Roll the opposite corner up to the center.

Make sure the creases meet evenly. Place an ice cube in the center of this crease if you’re making a boo-boo bunny:

Bend the rolled-up washcloth in half and then place one “ear” in front of the other

Gather the front of the washcloth tightly and wrap a hair tie or rubber band around it. This forms the bunny’s face.

Wrap a ribbon around the hair tie or rubber band to conceal it. Add a cotton bunny tail with a pom pom.

Glue on the eyes and nose. I use hot glue, but tacky glue would work well too! Just allow more drying time with tacky glue.

How to Make a Wash Cloth Bunny! Also known as boo-boo bunnies when an ice cube is put inside, these are a great craft for Easter!

Supplies

  • Wash cloth (any size, they just need to be square in shape)

  2. I’m going to make these for my daughter’s Easter baskets this year. I’m always looking for non-candy options to put in there that don’t cost a fortune! They eat enough candy….right?!? Eeekk. Even I (not to crafty here) can make these and I like how I can buy everything cheaply either at Walmart or a dollar stores, places I shop anyhow =)
