Fruity Marshmallow Crunch

Happy spring! In celebration of the season, we’ve made something colorful and sweet. Well, it’s actually a little bit salty too. Fruity Marshmallow Crunch is guaranteed to hit the spot if you’re craving something salty and sweet! What I love is that it’s so easy to make and it looks really pretty too!

For this recipe you will need:

• 3-4 cups of jumbo marshmallows (not melted, just fill up a measuring cup with marshmallows)
• 2 cups of Fruity Pebbles cereal
• 1 bag of microwave popcorn
• 2 tablespoons of water
• Baking sheet
• Parchment paper
• Microwave safe bowl

Once the melted marshmallows cool down, you can dig right in! The melted marshmallow will eventually get harder, but we prefer the ooey gooey texture. There’s no wrong way to eat Fruity Marshmallow Crunch!

Directions:

1. Microwave a bag of popcorn and spread the popcorn out on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
2. In a microwave safe bowl, melt the marshmallows in 20 second intervals, stirring in between. Note: the marshmallows will expand so make sure your bowl is large enough. Also, the bowl will be HOT.
3. When they are fully melted, stir in 2 tablespoons of water. This makes the melted marshmallow pourable.
4. Pour the melted marshmallow over the popcorn as seen in the video (use a spoon to help)
5. Sprinkle over your desired amount of Fruity Pebbles cereal.
6. Enjoy!
