Christmas Trees Made with Pretzels
This recipe is a total hit for class parties at school! If you do take them to school, be sure to make extra. From experience, I can tell you that they disappear QUICKLY because kids love them so much. Just the sight of these edible little trees will light up the eyes of every kid. If your kids love to get in the kitchen and make holiday treats but aren’t quite old enough for baking, this is perfect.

Pin It NowStart by placing melted chocolate (not real chocolate, the easy melting kind) into a sealable plastic bag. I like to place the baggie over a cup and then you can pour the melted chocolate into the corner. Next, cut off a tiny bit of the tip from the bag. The chocolate will now easily come out!

Now, create little trees with a back-and-forth motion. No matter how perfect or imperfect this process is, the trees will always be festive and fun. So, let the kids try this part out! It’s ok if it gets a little messy. It’s easy to clean up. I prefer to use wash paper or parchment paper for the trees to dry on. If the chocolate hardens while you’re using it, you can always re-heat it:) Sprinkle on some candy lights and add a candy star.
Wasn’t that easy? They taste so delicious and they are almost a bit too easy to eat:) Christmas Trees made with Pretzels may be the easiest Christmas treat ever! Just drizzle some white (or green!) candy melts and add some holiday sprinkles and you have a delicious sweet and salty dessert!
Allow the chocolate to harden for an hour or so before carefully removing it from parchment paper and enjoying it! Serve them to friends and family or package them up in small cellophane treat bags.
