Knowing how to make a gingerbread house is something everybody wants to be able to do during the holiday season! They do have pre-made gingerbread houses that you can decorate (and there’s nothing wrong with those) but trying out a completely handmade gingerbread house is always fun for kids. Actually, it’s fun for the entire family! There are actually several ways to assemble a gingerbread house and I collected 6 of my favorite (and easy) DIY tutorials. In fact, most of them don’t even use real gingerbread. Graham crackers are a brilliant alternative that will give you the same exact results. However, if you want to build a traditional gingerbread house, I love the idea of tracing the house with a stencil first. That is so smart! Do you have a favorite way to make a gingerbread house? Any fabulous tips or stories? I’d love to know! Leave a comment below and share it with all of us. Whether you are a teacher or room mom assembling gingerbread houses for an entire class, or a grandma preparing for a wonderful activity with grandchildren, I hope you enjoy these simple gingerbread house ideas. To see each project, click “Next” and the link to the full tutorial is below each picture. Happy Holidays!
