Yep, I mixed it right away. The oil doesn’t need to get very hot (only around 76 degrees F) so the sugar doesn’t melt. I hope you love it! Emily

Hi Carmen,

Yep, I just melted it to combine it all. I wanted the oil and spices evenly distributed through the sugar so I heated until it was melted because it seemed easiest. Coconut oil tends to melt around 76 degrees F so it doesn’t take much heat at all. You could try making the mix with unmelted coconut oil. It just might take a little more stirring. Thanks, Emily
