Football Snacks: Pretzel Pops
Football season is BACK and I have made some ca-ute snacks to celebrate! They are chocolate covered pretzel pops. Have you seen push pops lately? They’re kind of totally in style right now (if I do say so myself). They aren’t those cardboard pushpops that you might remember from the past. No, no….The new and improved push pops are actually reusable plastic containers that you can buy at a craft store. If you’ve been on Pinterest in the past couple of years, then you’ve seen that a push pop can be filled with practically any treat you desire. Today, in celebration of football season, I’ve filled my Football Push Pops with chocolate covered pretzels:
But I’m not the only crafty blogger that has developed a cute football snack.
(Psssst: You can see my tutorial for my Pretzel Pops below this!).

Check out the football snack I made for the blog hop: Pretzel Pops!
To make the Pretzel Pops, you will need the following simple materials that you can pick up at a craft store (I got everything from Michael’s): brown textured paper, white craft foam, yellow card stock, and push pop containers. You can even buy the chocolate covered pretzels at Michael’s too!
Aren’t they so cute??!! I think they would be really fun for kids as a SUPER special after practice treat. My son, Mitch, is too tiny for peewee football, so we’re not doing the evening and afternoon practices quite yet, but I can imagine that most little football players like treats? What about the moms and dads on the sidelines? Can’t forget about the sisters either! If you bring these to practice, you are bound to be the popular one on the field!
If you are throwing a football themed party, check out these Super Bowls that I made last year. OMG they are SO good! Click the image below for a full tutorial of these individual 7-layer dip bowls:
I just love these, Kelly! They would be such a hit…especially with the kids!
