One of my MOST favorite holidays is the 4th of July. I love everything about summer and July 4th is a day filled with everything we love about summer: warm weather, time to spend with friends and family, fireworks, s’mores, hot dogs, and so much more. I also love BBQ’s, summer fruit, and patriotic parades. Today I’m sharing a cool way to make a red, white, and blue 4th of July milkshake that all kids love!

This is an ultra festive vanilla bean milkshake with red, white, and blue all over! If you don’t have a special milkshake cup, don’t let that stop you. All you need is a clear cup of any size. The trick to making the easiest red, white, and blue milkshake is using light corn syrup!

As you’re sipping on your 4th of July drink, whip up this kid-friendly drink so everyone can have a red, white, and blue beverage. They’ll pair perfectly with all the dishes at your holiday barbecue!

Using a clean, new, paint brush or small basting brush, line the inside of the cup with a very thin layer of corn syrup. For this glass that you see, I used about a teaspoon of corn syrup. It’s very easy to brush around the entire cup. Next, gently tap some of the red, white, and blue sprinkles into the cup. The corn syrup acts like glue instantly keeping the sprinkles in place.
