Homemade Fabric Softener

Here’s the biggest secret: you do not have to buy expensive conditioner for this DIY fabric softener. You can buy the super inexpensive kind that is about $2 for a large bottle. I like to make smaller batches so that I can switch up the fragrance depending on my mood or the season:)

Ingredients for making fabric softener with conditioner

Ingredients:

  1.  water
  2. white vinegar
  3. conditioner

The wild cherry blossom conditioner I bought was less than $2 and the gallon of white vinegar was just a few dollars too. I got the glass pitcher from the dollar store. I like that I can simply pour the fabric softener into the washing machine.
