I was in the mood to change up our kitchen table decor today. While I know spring hasn’t fully sprung everywhere, it sure has been warm here in Orange County.

Today I found the perfect wood plaque to turn into a hanging chair sign. We love how it turned out! I am thankful for so much and having the sign where we can see it as we sit down for dinner as a family is so fitting.

I got the small wood plaque at Hobby Lobby and also picked up the black and white striped ribbon there as well.

On the back side of the plaque are two hooks for hanging the sign on the wall. Instead, I strung the ribbon through and tied it to a dining chair.

This can be done with any small sign you like! If the sign doesn’t have hooks on the back for hanging on a wall, just add them. Each chair shape is different, but a beautiful hanging sign can be made to fit any chair.

This tablescape idea would be wonderful for a brunch or even Easter.

I continued decorating the table for spring and am LOVING the pops of color on the table.

I found this tiny galvanized milk can and placed a pink silk flower inside. The silver metal mixed with the golden utensils is so unexpected and fun! The bold stripes in the placemat coordinate with the polka dots as well as the cute Y’all Come Eat sign (also found at Hobby Lobby).

I got the napkins, hydrangea napkin rings, golden utensils, and plates from Pier 1 Imports.

Are you ready for spring too? I can’t wait for warmer days, green hillsides, and flowers blooming everywhere. I wish it could be spring all year long!
