Little Smokies Wrapped in Bacon

Little sausages wrapped in bacon and smothered in sweet brown sugar. An easy recipe for parties, game day, or potlucks! They are baked to mouthwatering golden brown perfection.

Equipment

  • Baking dish (9x13 or smaller)

Ingredients

  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 package  little-smoked sausages
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, not packed

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Wrap 1/3 to 1/2 piece of bacon around one little sausage
  • Place them seam down in the pan
  • Repeat with remaining little smokies
  • Sprinkle brown sugar over the bacon wrapped smokies evenly
  • Bake, uncovered, for 45 mintues to 1 hour.
  • You’ll know they’re done when the bacon is crispy and the sugar is melted and caramelized.

Notes

You can spice up the smokies by adding cayenne powder or extra seasonings of your choice. 
Store the leftovers in the fridge using an airtight container.
