Ingredients
10Soft Taco Size Flour Tortillas
4-5cups Cooked Shredded Chicken
1packetTaco Seasoning
1-2cans Refried Beans – better to make extra and serve on the side rather than running out while making the burrito bundles!
Shredded cheese – Mexican blend or whatever you prefer in your burritos
8ounceBag of Shredded Queso Quesadilla Cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°
Prepare shredded chicken as desired and add in a packet of taco seasoning (usually requiring a little extra water)
Heat up refried beans
Cut tortillas in half
On a cutting board, put a scoop of beans, chicken, and shredded Mexican blend cheese in the middle of each tortilla half
Roll the tortilla into a cone shape as seen in the TikTok video above
Prepare the pie dish with a nonstick spray
Place a small bowl in the middle of the dish
Arrange 12 burrito bundles around the bowl
Sprinkle 1/2 the bag of quesadilla cheese over the burrito bundles
Arrange the remaining 8 burrito bundles on top
Sprinkle the remaining queso cheese on top
Sprinkle the remaining queso cheese on top
Remove the small bowl in the middle
Bake the Blooming Burrito Ring for 20 minutes
While baking, prepare guacamole, salsa, or the “secret sauce” in the small dipping bowl
Remove from oven and serve immediately. Consider adding the extra chicken or beans on the side!
Notes
Store leftover burrito bundles in a ziplock bag in the refrigerator. Reheat in the microwave… they’re wonderful!
