Tulip Carrot Wreath

How to make a tulip carrot wreath for spring and Easter. A beautiful DIY tulip carrot door hanger. I hung mine on the back of a chair!

Ingredients

  • 2-3 bunches of orange tulips (faux)
  • Greenery that looks like the top of a carrot
  • Hot glue
  • Floral wire, zip ties, or any type of similar wire
  • Ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Fishing line (optional)

Instructions

  • Remove the leaves from bunches of tulips
  • Using floral wire, zip ties, or any other similar tie, wrap the flowers together starting at the tip of the carrot
  • Working upwards, add additional tulips to begin making a carrot shape. Secure the tulips together several times moving upwards
  • Secure some draping and flowing greens to the top of the carrots using the same method in step #2
  • Using hot glue on the back of the ribbon, wrap the tulip wreath stems and greenery stems (covering up any wires or ties). The hot glue keeps the ribbons and tulips in place
  • Hang on the back of a chair using fishing line or on a door using a wreath hanger
