Valentine's Day Candy Robot
Candy Robots for Valentine's Day are fun to make and fun to give as gifts! This is the perfect Valentine's Day craft idea for kids.
Equipment
Box of Smarties candies or Conversation Hearts
Sixlets
Small boxes of Nerds
Vanilla pudding or tapioca cups
Gooley eyes
Hot glue gun
Various craft accessories to dress the robots up (ribbon, craft foam, etc).
Sharpie marker
Instructions
Begin by assembling the candy robot from the bottom up. The two boxes of Nerds get glued together to create a sturdy base.
Next, the rectangular box of candy gets glued on top of the Nerds.
Flip the vanilla pudding cup upside down and glue it to the top of the candy box (making sure it is centered for weight purposes).
Add the candy arms before the crafty final touches.
Dress up your Valentine Candy Robots with whatever you can find at the dollar store or your local craft store.
Finally, glue on the googly eyes and draw on some eyelashes with a permanent marker.
Notes
These supplies are just suggestions, so remember that you can use various candies and containers with similar shapes to make the robots.
