Valentine's Day Candy Robot
Candy Robots for Valentine's Day are fun to make and fun to give as gifts! This is the perfect Valentine's Day craft idea for kids.
Equipment
- Box of Smarties candies or Conversation Hearts
- Sixlets
- Small boxes of Nerds
- Vanilla pudding or tapioca cups
- Gooley eyes
- Hot glue gun
- Various craft accessories to dress the robots up (ribbon, craft foam, etc).
- Sharpie marker
Instructions
- Begin by assembling the candy robot from the bottom up. The two boxes of Nerds get glued together to create a sturdy base.
- Next, the rectangular box of candy gets glued on top of the Nerds.
- Flip the vanilla pudding cup upside down and glue it to the top of the candy box (making sure it is centered for weight purposes).
- Add the candy arms before the crafty final touches.
- Dress up your Valentine Candy Robots with whatever you can find at the dollar store or your local craft store.
- Finally, glue on the googly eyes and draw on some eyelashes with a permanent marker.

These supplies are just suggestions, so remember that you can use various candies and containers with similar shapes to make the robots.
