Homemade Garbage Disposal Cleaning Tabs help eliminate stinky smells while cleaning inside of the garbage disposal.
Equipment
- 2 lemons, sliced into small pieces
- 2 limes, sliced into small pieces
- 2 Ice cube Trays
- 32 oz White vinegar
Instructions
How To Make Garbage Disposal Cleaning Tabs
- Cut the lemons and limes into small chunks
- Put a piece in each ice cube cavity
- Fill each cavity with vinegar
- Place the trays in the freezer
- Once the cubes are frozen, transfer them to a container or ziplock freezer bag
How to Clean A Garbage Disposal
- When you are ready to freshen up your garbage disposal, toss a tab into your sink with the garbage disposal and water running.
- Each cleaning requires between 1-3 cubes to achieve your desired fresh citrus scent
Notes
Why not keep them in the ice cube trays?
You will notice that the freezer will have a temporary vinegar smell while the cubes are freezing. Putting the cleaning tabs in a container or freezer bag will contain the vinegar smell within your freezer.
