9″x 9″ Baking dish (or something similar) – Just nothing too small or the butter will spill over while baking
Non-stick spray
Large mixing bowl
Spatula
Ingredients
2.5cupsFlour
4teaspoonsBaking Powder
4teaspoonsSugar
1teaspoonsSalt
2cupsButtermilk
½cupMelted Butter
Instructions
Mix dry ingredients in mixing bowl
Add in buttermilk (don’t overmix!)
Prepare a baking dish with a THIN layer of non-stick spray
Pour melted butter baking dish
Add dough over the butter and use a spatula to spread the dough evenly
“Cut” the dough into square pieces
Bake at 450° for 25 minutes or until the top is golden and dough is baked through.
