In reply to Tara. You've got it! The thick paste is what you want to aim for and spooning it into the tray is perfect. This recipe won't make a full ice cube tray full (it will make about as many as you seen in the photos above). Just remember that it needs to dry overnight:)

In reply to Emily Claridge. Depending on what country you live in depends on the meaning between corn starch and corn flour. In the USA corn starch is made from only one part of the corn kernel (endosperm) and is a very fine white powder and is sold as corn starch. It is used as a thickener for gravy sand such and has a number of other uses. Corn flour is the whole corn kernel ground up and is used for baking, etc. The two are not interchangeable.

Actually when I was very young and had severe eczema
My mother would bath me with some baking soda or cornstarch in the bath water to ease the itching. She used corn starch,like baby powder in my diapers also as I was allergic to scented baby powder. I think you could use this in the bath water just keep in mind the oily Vicks might leave a bit of a slippery surface, so clean the tub Well before showering.

Is the mix watery or pastey? I made this twice because the amount didn’t fill my trays and following the recipe to the tee it’s stiff and pastey, you have to spoon it into the tray there’s no pouring it in lol
