In our neck of the woods, tortilla chips come in all different size bags. What size bag are you recommending?

The recipe just says “a bag” of tortilla chips. How big is this bag supposed to be?

In reply to Janet Bradley. Hi Janet. Since the tortilla chips are crumbled and then smothered in enchilada sauce, they soften in the oven. Because they are tortilla chips, they will still taste like tortillas after baking (just like corn tortillas in traditional enchiladas). Hope that helps!

So, the chips don’t get hard in the recipe? Just wondering, I don’t want to bite into this and have a hard chip in the dish. Did you say it safes like a tortilla?

I loved this.!Its very similar to a recipe I love also.but with a great twist. I use Frito chips instead of tortilla chips and I serve it with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, onions and sour crean ON TOP. I tried yours now you can try mine and see what you think.
