Ingredients
½bagMini twisted pretzels
1bag (12oz)semi sweet chocolate chips
¼cupchopped walnuts
1cupbutter
1cuppacked brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°
In a sauce pan over medium to low heat, melt the butter and brown sugar, stirring frequently. Cook it until the brown sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is bubbling hot (as seen in the video)
Pour the melted butter/sugar mixture over the pretzels
Place the baking sheet in the oven for 6 minutes
Remove the baking sheet and pour the entire bag of chocolate chips on top
Return the baking sheet to the oven for 1 minute
Once again, remove the baking sheet from the oven and spread the melted chocolate until smooth over the pretzels using a spatula (as seen in the video)
Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top
Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for an hour or until the chocolate toffee bark is hard. In a hurry? Put it in the freezer for about 30 minutes
Break the bark into smaller bite size pieces and enjoy!
Notes
Store the chocolate toffee pretzel bark in an air-tight container – Optional: in the fridge.
