- 1 box (9.6 ounce) Crispix cereal
- 2 cups pecan halves
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
Preheat oven to 250℉
In a mixing bowl, combine Crispix and pecans
In a large saucepan, combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter until boiling, stirring regularly.
Remove the saucepan from the heat
Stir in the vanilla and baking soda (the mixture becomes fluffy!)
Pour the hot caramel mixture over the cereal mixture and gently stir
Pour the praline crunch onto a cookie sheet or baking dish
Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 20 minutes
Once baked, pour the hot praline crunch over a large piece of wax paper or parchment paper and separate the praline crunch into bite-sized peices
Allow the praline crunch to cool. Then, enjoy!
