Equipment

  • Baking dish or small flat dish
  • Foil
  • Parchment paper
  • Baking sheet or flat plate

Ingredients

For a Large Batch

  • 2 cups Gummy Bears
  • 2 cans Sprite soda (or 7-Up)

For a Small Batch

  • 1 cup Gummy Bears
  • 1 can Sprite soda (or 7-Up)

Instructions

  • Place the Gummy Bears in a baking dish. They don’t have to be arranged perfectly, just spaced out evenly.
  • Pour the sprite over the gummies.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  • Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  • Skim the Gummy Bears out of the dish allowing the excess liquid to drip off.
  • Place the gummies in a single-layer row on top of the parchment-lined baking sheet. Make sure the gummies aren't touching, otherwise they'll freeze together.
  • Place the Gummy Bears in the freezer for 3 hours and enjoy!
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator in a freezer-friendly container or zip-top bag.

Notes

The longer they soak in the Sprite, the bigger they get in size!
