Because of the soaking and freezing time, you will need 1 full day to make Frozen Gummy Bears. The Gummy Bears double in size because the gummies absorb the Sprite soda overnight.

Ingredients:
- Gummy Bears
- Sprite

Supplies:
- Baking dish or small flat dish
- Foil
- Parchment paper
- Baking sheet or flat plate

Instructions:
Place the Gummy Bears in a baking dish in a single layer. They don’t have to be arranged perfectly, just spaced out evenly. Next, pour the sprite over the gummies.

The bubbles will fizz around the gummies for a while while the magic begins! Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place it in the refrigerator overnight or at least 8 hours. If needed, you can keep them in longer! The longer they soak in the Sprite, the bigger they get in size!

Look how big the Gummy Bears are after marinating in the Sprite all night! Now it’s time to line a baking dish with parchment paper to start the freezing process. The gummies won’t stick to the parchment paper in the freezer.

Skim the Gummy Bears out of the dish allowing the excess liquid to drip off. A spoon with small holes (as pictured) is great for this job! You need to be a little gentle with the Gummy Bears so they don’t break, but generally, they don’t fall apart easily even though they are much larger!

Freezing Gummy Bears
Place the gummies in a single-layer row on top of the parchment-lined baking sheet. You don’t have to line them up perfectly, but just make sure they aren’t touching otherwise they’ll freeze together.
The full step-by-step recipe and directions can be found (and printed) at the end of this post.

Finally, place the Gummy Bears in the freezer for 3 hours. You can freeze them for longer, but it takes them about 3 hours to fully freeze. Note: they won’t be hard once they’re frozen! They have a cold, soft, crunch. I know you’ll love them!
