Baking sheet
- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ¾ cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup Butter (softened)
Preheat oven to 400℉
Combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt).
Add in the butter and buttermilk. I like to use the dough attachment on my KitchenAid mixer.
Place parchment paper on your workspace.
Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to your desired thickness (about ½" thick). The biscuits will rise in the oven.
Take a cup (a regular old drinking glass) and use the top of the cup as a cookie cutter on your rolled-out dough.
Placed the round biscuits on a greased sheet and sprinkle some additional salt on top (optional).
Bake for 10 minutes or until the biscuits begin to appear golden.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container on the counter for up to 5 days.
Microwave :
Transfer biscuits to a microwave-safe plate, use a damp paper towel on top, and warm in 15-second intervals until the desired temperature.
