  • Non-stick spray
  • Parchment paper

  • Drinking cup
  • Baking sheet

Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda

  • 1 cup Butter (softened)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400℉
  • Combine the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt).
    Ingredients
  • Add in the butter and buttermilk. I like to use the dough attachment on my KitchenAid mixer.
    Biscuit dough
  • Place parchment paper on your workspace.
  • Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough to your desired thickness (about ½" thick). The biscuits will rise in the oven.
    Roll out the dough
  • Take a cup (a regular old drinking glass) and use the top of the cup as a cookie cutter on your rolled-out dough.
  • Placed the round biscuits on a greased sheet and sprinkle some additional salt on top (optional).
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until the biscuits begin to appear golden.
