Preheat oven to temperature according to the sugar cookie dough you’re using (pre-made dough is usually 350℉)
Press sugar cookie dough onto wax paper. If the dough is cold, simply work the dough in your hands because it warms up quickly. Make the dough about 1/2″ thick.
Use the rim of a cup that is similar in size the the clear ornament toppers you have to use to create the sugar cookies. Keep in mind that the dough will expand during baking
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Bake sugar cookies according to the cookie dough directions (about 10 minutes). Keep in mind that sugar cookies burn QUICKLY! I highly recommend removing them from the oven when the edges turn gold and allowing them to cool on the baking sheet.
Frost the cookies with vanilla/white frosting
Add miniature ornaments to the center of the cookies
Sprinkle shredded coconut over the trinkets and white frosting
Top with a clear ornament! The frosting will keep everything in place
