Seashell Pearl Cookies
A quick and easy seashell-themed dessert using Madeleine cookies.

- White frosting pre-made or homemade
- Food coloring
- Edible “pearls” or decorating dots found in the baking isle next to the sprinkles
Using white frosting and food coloring, mix up various colors in small mixing bowls as desired for the seashell cookie filling. I used pink and blue.
With a bread knife, shave off the bump on the underside of the Madeline cookies.
With a butter knife, spread the colored frosting on the cookies. Use a thinner amount where the two cookies will connect and a thicker amount toward the opening of the seashell.
Place a second cookie on top. The frosting will keep the cookies together. Pinch the ends together gently so it looks like the seashells are opening up.
Add an edible pearl to the seashell cookie!
