  1. Soo beautiful! Looking for cute girly things for my daughter bauptism that I can do on my spare time and save myself money on deco. this is certainly one imma use with different color petals! Thanks!

  2. SO clever! I love all kinds of tea lights, but my husband refuses to have candles in the house because of the danger. Now I can make some myself – never knew they had these little inserts. I guess I can get them at Michaels?

  3. Absolutely love these. I am hoping to make these to put on tables for my wedding reception. About how many petals did you use per light? I want to make sure I can find enough flowers. & about how long did they take to make?

    1. Hello friend! I believe I used about 9 spoons and 9 petals for each candle (plus glue gun sticks). I think each one took about 15 minutes to make. You can buy fancier rose petals from a craft store, or you can buy cheaper ones from the dollar store. I even like to buy fake roses from the dollar tree and take them apart myself. I’d be more than happy to help walk you through that process! Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or thoughts: smartschoolhouse @ gmail. com

  4. what a simple and creative idea. i can see this becoming part of gift baskets in the future.

  5. I made these yesterday…the first one i used the spoons, but the others I did it without and they looked just as good. I glued a couple of the leaves to one side to add a pop of color. I plan on putting some ribbon around the bottom to give it a nice clean look. Very pretty, even my husband liked them…and that was a shock…LOL
