Terra cotta pots are simple, inexpensive, and easy to find. To make one, stack two terra cotta pots on top of each other. Then, put the saucer on top to create a little bath for birds! It’s best to use waterproof construction adhesive (a glue like this) to attach the pots.
Before you start painting, use an all surface primer on the terra cotta pots to prepare them. Then, use acrylic paint, vinyl stickers, or even decoupage the pots. The options are endless!
Here is an adorable way to get your kids or grandkids involved with this DIY bird bath. Make handprints on the pots by applying paint on their hands. Then, use some green paint to turn the handprints into flowers by adding stems and flowers!
