Homemade Blemish Cream
Hello there! As you may or may not know, I really enjoy making pretty DIY products that make us feel pretty. Today I’m going to teach you how to make a homemade blemish cream that I love. I have dry skin, so I need a cream that will battle blemishes and keep my skin soft and hydrated. If you enjoy the idea of a non-drying DIY blemish cream, then you’ve come to the right place!
To get started, you will need the following ingredients. I tend to buy everything online:
- Coconut Oil – I like to buy THIS kind
- Shea Butter – You can find it HERE
- Tea Tree Oil – HERE is one that I recommend
- Small Container – THIS one is really cute!
Combine:
- 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons of shea butter
- 4-5 drops of tea tree oil
The process is very, very simple! When you combine the ingredients, you may need to warm them up just a tad so that they stir together smoothly (that’s how I do it anyways!). Then, depending on the weather, your homemade blemish cream will probably stay in a liquid form. You can store it in the refrigerator during the hottest months of the year (that sounds very refreshing, actually!).
The neat thing about this is that shea butter will help heal older acne scars (not a pretty topic, but most of us have them), while the coconut oil helps moisturize, and the tea tree oil works to banish blemishes …. in  a beautiful way, of course!
