Peppermint Bath Snow

It’s candy cane time! I love the smell of peppermint anything from November – January, don’t you? We don’t have any snow around here, so we have to get creative making our own snow. Today’s easy DIY tutorial for Organic Peppermint Bath Snow is so fun. Just sprinkle a little in the bath and it will surround everything warm aroma of peppermint (and your kids will love smelling like a candy cane!). Making bath snow is so easy, you’ll be shocked!

How to Make Organic Peppermint Bath Snow

All you need for Organic Peppermint Bath Snow is:

A food processor (or a Vitamix, like I used)

1 bar of Dr. Bronner’s Vegan & Organic Peppermint Castile Soap.
I’ve seen these bars of soap at Target and the grocery store. But, every Target and grocery store varies, so you can always find them online.

How to make Organic Peppermint Bath Snow

Cut the bar of soap in half. Then, cut that piece down into smaller cubes.

Place the cubes in a food processor and blend them until they reach a snow-like consistency like this:

Be sure to start with a very clean food processor! Once you are done, the soap washes easily out of the food processor.

Sprinkle some in a warm bath and the soap will naturally dissolve. This is a very gentle soap, but I don’t recommend using it on kids younger than 3 (just to be safe). And, take your child’s skin conditions into consideration first. Even though this soap is both organic and vegan, sensitive skin is sensitive skin! However, if skin conditions aren’t an issue, then bathe away! You’ll smell like a candy cane all day long!

Store it in an air tight container.

Happy Holidays!
