We’ve made it to the holiday season! That deserves a glass of champagne. We are kicking off the holiday season with a spirit of festive fun. This year Christmas is at our new house and we can’t wait! Today we made this Sparkling Christmas Rosé with an easy appetizer just to jump start the fun. It’s all soooooo delicious (que the holiday music!).
Sparkling Christmas Rosé
Now that the countdown to Christmas has started here at Smart School House, our Christmas lights are scheduled to be installed, our new 10′ tree is being delivered next week, and I’ve been in full swig creating holiday posts to share with you here. But first, the bubbly!! A glass of sparkling rosé anyone? Love stemless champagne glasses as much as I do? Here are the ones you see me using in the pictures, and trust me, you won’t find them at a better price!
Next up, Christmas lists! We’ll be traveling for Thanksgiving for a ski vacation in Jackson Hole, Wyoming so I’m trying to get as much of our Christmas prep done before Thanksgiving. Early for some, but it’s just how we have to do it around here:)
I’ve ALWAYS wanted to have more than one Christmas tree in our house and, in our new home, I finally get it! I plan to put our 10′ tree in our spiral stair case (which is the entry of our home) and our original Christmas tree closer to the living room.
I also can’t wait to decorate our staircase! It’s a dramatic spiral stair case with a brand new chandelier (did you see us having it installed in my Instagram story?). That was INTENSE! The new chandelier is fabulous though… full of glamor that will light the new Christmas tree below it. I can’t wait to see it come together! I will be sharing all about it here,

What pairs well with sparkling wine? Cheese of course! These cheese bites are slightly crunchy on the outside and warm and cheesy on the inside. You can’t eat just one! (secret… they’re premade, so just check the freezer isle at your store).
Tell me that this isn’t one of the most festive and fun holiday drinks ever. I’m certain Buddy the Elf would approve.
I’m not going to lie, we’ve already been watching Hallmark Christmas movies and enjoying time by the fire as much as possible. We might be weeks out from Christmas, but this truly is the most wonderful time of the year.
If you ever have something specific you’d like to see me blog about or are hoping I can go more into detail about, never hesitate to let me know! Either leave a comment here or email me anytime. I’m always planning my editorial calendar based on what I hope my readers (who I love so much) want to see. If you haven’t already checked it out, I have a new “shop” section on my blog. If you’re on a desktop computer you can find it in the menu at the very top of this post, or if you’re on a mobile device, you can find the menu at the upper left top of your screen. Shop my favorite things, items that you’ve seen me post on my Facebook page, things I post about on Instagram, holiday gift guides, and more. I’ll always be updating it! Here’s where you can find these stemless champagne glasses. I LOVE them!
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
