As I’m writing, I can hear the rain outside. I’m in a comfy flannel jacket and have my favorite candles lit. We’re planning on baking cookies later and having homemade soup for dinner. It’s the perfect time to share some of my new favorite gorgeous fall decorations with you! I’m going to show you my new fall decorations as well as items that inspire me.
Gorgeous Fall Decorations
What I love about fall decorating is that it comes with a comforting feel. Decor should make you feel a certain way. Fall should feel warm and cozy and should smell of pumpkin spice and cinnamon. What I’ve absolutely loved this year is adding fresh eucalyptus and greenery into my vases. Greenery is such a great contrast to orange and other fall foliage colors. What’s really neat is that we are seeing so much more color in home decor this fall. Think: bolds an golds! Bold colors alongside golden and brass accents.
We love using everyday items in unexpected ways. Cut them stems off of flowers and stack them in these golden lanterns. Layer colored plates with floral plates. Don’t forget to add a wood serving board. As you can see in my kitchen, I’ve been collecting lots of wood trays and cheeseboards like these.
Velvet pumpkins have been so popular this fall! They will be around for awhile, so be sure to grab them while you can! Sprinkle your entire home with them: the entry way, a console table, a formal dining table, a coffee table, a desk, etc. etc. etc. The bold colors of these velvet pumpkins are so gorgeous.
Gorgeous Fall Decorations
What is fall without pumpkins everywhere? We love this pumpkin shaped candles. What looks even better is having them bunched together as shown. One pumpkin candle is great, but several pumpkin candles together is just gorgeous. My favorite fragrances are the Butter Pumpkin, Sugared Shortbread, and of course the Pumpkin Spice.
These boldly colorful tribal patterned tea light candle holders are stunning. I love the blues and whites alongside the oranges. Notice the golden stems? Ahhh I love this season’s decor trends!
As you can see in the picture above, my fall tablescape includes copper mugs, marble patterned plates, and buffalo check napkins. Incorporating buffalo check home decor is something I’ve been loving since we moved into our new house.
The wood placemats on this fall table are so unique. Who would think that blocks of wood could be so perfect as part of a centerpiece? A wood table runner is really gorgeous too.
