Frozen Yogurt Push Pops

Frozen Yogurt Push Pops

If you happen to be on Instagram with me, then you probably saw me snap a photo of this homemade frozen yogurt last week. It was SO fun to make (and my kids were freaking out the whole time!). These frozen yogurt push pops are quick, easy, and they only require few ingredients.

How to make Frozen Yogurt Push Pops

To get started, you will need:

  • Cool Whip
  • Vanilla extract
  • Vanilla yogurt or plain yogurt
  • Electric mixer
  • Foil
  • Push Pop containers (I have these ones)
  • Light corn syrup
  • Sprinkles (because they make life better!)

Combine 1 cup of yogurt with two cups of Cool Whip and 1 tsp. of vanilla. Using an electric mixer on slow speed, mix those simple ingredients together for 1 minute.

Pour the mixture into a freezer safe dish and throw some sprinkles on top for fun! Cover it with foil and let it freeze over night (or for a few hours if you make it early in the day).

With a brush, or something of the sort, line the inside of the push pop containers with a thin layer of corn syrup. Then, drop some rainbow sprinkles inside. They stick like magic! Your kids will really start to freak out at this point!!

Once the frozen yogurt is completely frozen, scoop it into the push pop containers. The sprinkles will stay in place thanks to the corn syrup. As you begin to eat the frozen yogurt push pop, the sprinkles will slowly melt into a swirling sugary rainbow-y pop of fabulousness that no kid will pass up!

  1. Why can’t you freeze it in the pushpop molds?

can there be a substitute for the light corn syrup, like using agave or maple syrup instead?

  4. Does it make a difference if it is fat free yogurt, or would it affect the way if freezes?
