My food processor is not a fancy machine! In fact, it’s a mini food processor. So, if you don’t have a big old food processor, have no fear! Be creative- try a blender or try mixing it by hand! This is a no fail sugar scrub recipe. I prefer my scrubs to be fluffy. If you prefer a smoother sugar scrub, simply add more baby oil.
The sugar fluffs it up, the oil smooths it out.

Aside from being gorgeous, roses are *thought* to contribute to our well being.
Roses are my very favorite flowers: red, white, pink- I love them all.

Don’t you think this Baby Rose Sugar Scrub would be a beautiful gift? Me too!

  1. I love, love, love this recipe! I would recommend putting the oil in first, then the rose petals. Blend the two together and then add the sugar and blend.

  2. So someone mentioned that rose petals will go bad after so long, have any thoughts? I used coconut oil, instead of baby oil and love it so far, just not sure how long it will stay good for?

  3. I can’t wait to try this with my roses. Does anyone know how long this will last in a sealed container? I thought I might make several batches at once, since i don’t get roses that often 🙂

    1. Great idea! You could always dry out your rose petals now and then mix them into the sugar/oil mixture when you’re ready! Try things out and decide what works best for you! You will love it though:) XO

  4. How much does this make? I’m hoping to make this and put them in little mason jars for teacher appreciation week next week with petals from our rose bushes.

    1. This recipe makes a little more than you can see in the picture. But, it’s SO easy that you can make a much larger batch (or make smaller batches over and over) in no time at all! Have fun and what a thoughtful teacher gift. I know they will LOVE it!

  5. I’m looking forward to making is with my daycAre kids for Mothers Day. Also, great song by Jewel :). Thanks for sharing!
