- Old fashioned oats
- Banana
- Coconut oil
- Eggs
- Cinnamon
- Extra peanut butter for topping (optional)
- Small dog bone biscuits, whole or crushed (optional)
Recipe Tip
Organic peanut butter is xylitol-free. Xylitol can be toxic to dogs, so it’s best to avoid it.
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Add all ingredients (except toppings) to a large bowl. Mix well with a fork until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Spoon the batter into a non-stick donut pan. You can find a donut pan in the baking aisle at the grocery store. Or, you can find inexpensive ones here.
Using the spoon or your fingers, lightly press the mixture down into the pan. Bake the dog donuts for 12-15 minutes.
Remove the donuts from the pan using a butter knife to lift them gently. Allow them to cool on a wire rack.
Once cooled, add peanut butter or your dog’s favorite toppings! Get creative and have fun with this part!
