How to Make Popcorn Corn on the Cob bags

Fill a small snack-sized bag with freshly popped popcorn. Tape one side of the sealable part of the baggie to the back hide it using regular tape:

Place a piece of double-sided tape near the corner of your green tissue paper. Put the baggie of popcorn over the double-sided tape:

Wrap both sides of the popcorn baggie (as seen in the video). The double-sided tape keeps the bag in place. Next, twist the bottom of the tissue paper:

Tie the bottom with some raffia (a hay-like wrapping string found at any craft store). Cut the excess tissue paper off the bottom:

Stack the corn together and they really come to life! They look just like real corn on the cob. They are adorable and can be served at fall birthday parties, classrooms, your kid’s sports team, or at your kid’s table at Thanksgiving dinner.

  1. For a ‘farm’ party we made these using different coloured flavourings so we had all different colours (including a spicy choc indian corn that looked amazing). Using tall fabric roll tubes which we had painted green we made corn stalks & put them in the garden beds for the kids to ‘pick’. A massive treat & so much fun, thank you for your great idea 🙂
