Warm Caprese Dip features ooey gooey cheese melted with pesto and topped with cherry tomatoes. An excellent appetizer idea for the holidays, game day, or any get-together!

Ingredients:

  1. Cream cheese
  2. Shredded mozzarella cheese
  3. Basil pesto
  4. Cherry tomatoes
  5. Garlic powder
  6. Onion powder
  7. Balsamic vinaigrette (for dipping if you’re using bread)
Ingredients

Instructions:

Begin the hot caprese dip by creating the cheese mixture. In a small pot, melt the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until creamy and smooth.

Cheese sauce

Using a shallow baking dish, spread the cheese sauce around the bottom. I use a 9-inch pie dish, but if you don’t have that, a similar size dish will work too.

Next, spread the yummy basil pesto sauce over the cheese mixture. It’s easy to spread using the back of a mixing spoon.

Pesto on top of cream cheese mixture

Add juicy tomatoes on top! Simply cut the cherry tomatoes in half and gently place them around the baking dish. Bake for about 25 minutes, and the hot dip is done! The melty cheese can be served right away.
