These Little Smokies Wrapped in Bacon are so addictive, everyone loves them from kids to adults. What’s not to love here? Little sausages wrapped in bacon and smothered in sweet brown sugar. This is an easy recipe for parties, game days, or potlucks! They are baked to mouthwatering golden brown perfection.

Little Smokies Wrapped in Bacon
Little Smokies come in all beef or pork and chicken flavors and you can choose either one. Both will taste wonderful with crispy bacon around them. You can use your favorite bacon for this recipe but make sure it’s not the super thick-sliced kind. Check out our TikTok video to see how we made them:

Ingredients:
- Bacon
- Little smoked sausages
- Brown sugar
It really is an easy appetizer, even though it takes a few minutes to wrap the bacon around each sausage. But don’t worry, you can make it the night before and bake it when ready. The best part is that the bacon and sugar marinate with the lil smokies creating a deliciously bold flavor. YUM!

Instructions:
Start by cutting each bacon slice into half or thirds. Wrap each piece of bacon around a little smokie. Then, sprinkle the brown sugar on top. Bake the smokies in a baking dish or on a baking sheet until the bacon is crispy. No need to cover in foil or add non-stick spray (isn’t this such an easy appetizer recipe?!).

The cooking time varies depending on the thickness of the bacon. Start checking after 40 minutes. You’ll know they’re done when the bacon is crispy and the brown sugar mixture is melted and caramelized. Little smokies are pre-cooked when you purchase them. In this recipe, you’re simply reheating the sausages in the oven, as well as getting the bacon cooked through.

Secure the bacon to the sausages by using toothpicks when ready to serve to guests. An easy appetizer option that’s great for feeding a large crowd. They are hearty, fun to eat, and extremely delicious! Beware: they disappear quickly.
Recipe Tip
Make an extra batch because they will go fast! They’re the perfect combo of salty and sweet! We like to put them in a small crockpot, slow cooker, or heating tray over a warm setting. Warming them in a microwave isn’t ideal because it will continue to cook the bacon.

I love how easy this recipe is to make, and the end result is a sweet and smoky snack that will satisfy even the biggest appetites.
Make-Head Recipe
You can make it the night before and bake it when ready. You can spice up the smokies by adding cayenne pepper or extra seasonings of your choice. Store the leftovers in the fridge using an airtight container.

I put a toothpick in each one. I don’t put the brown sugar on to start. Bake for 30 minutes, drain the fat, then add the sugar. And they each have their own handle!
