BOO! How cute and colorful are these one-eyed monster cookies? My son spotted these gummy candies at the grocery store today and we just had to do something fun with them. They are sour, just like sour gummy worms. Paired with soft cookies and fluffy frosting and ANY kid would be smiling! Best of all, they are so simple to make! Be sure to pin and save this post for the next time you’re baking cookies!

Making sugar cookies

When we make sugar cookies, we roll the dough then gently press them into the perfectly into shape with the bottom of a cup. Kids are really great at this job

Watch how fun and easy they are to make!

The kids can frost the cookies and add the sprinkles. It’s so cute to watch their little faces focus so hard to get the sprinkles on the outside edge of the cookie. After that, a little extra frosting will get the candy eye to stick to the monsters.

I like to line my cookie sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking, but that’s totally optional.
