Supplies:
- Clear plastic spoons
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brushes
- Hot glue
- Black pom poms

Instructions:
Begin by snapping the handles off of the plastic spoons. Discard the handles. You’ll need 3 spoons per critter.

Next, paint the critter’s bodies and wings. Ladybugs have black bodies and red polka-dot wings. The bees have black and yellow striped bodies with clear wings.

Once the paint has completely dried, hot glue the wings together. After that, hot glue the set of wings onto the critter’s body.

Finally, attach a fluffy pom pom head! You can also get creative with this part. Pom poms come in all different sizes and colors. Have fun and make the critters unique!

They look like little ornaments on my indoor houseplants. What other winged critters could you make? Butterflies would be so fun to paint! Just think of all the colors you could use to make them!
