Made from Hershey's Kisses. Easy, Fun and so cute! Valentine Candy Critter for a Fun Kid's Craft and Treat. Lip Balm Critters!

Supplies:

  1. 5 Hershey’s Kisses
  2. Hot glue
  3. Googly Eyes
  4. Pipe cleaner in color(s) of choice
  5. Lip Balm: like Lip Smackers
  6. Pom pom, craft foam, or craft felt for the nose and ears

Instructions:

Start by removing the Hershey’s tag from a Hershey’s Kiss. Again, these do not need to be Valentine’s Day Hershey’s kisses… a regular silver Hershey’s Kiss will work too! Glue two small googly eyes to the Hershey’s Kiss:

Next, glue on a little nose. I recommend you get creative here. I found fake snow in my craft supplies that I purchased for THIS Christmas craft. Use a pom pom, cut a circle out of construction paper, or even a small bead. No matter what, your candy critter nose will be cute.

After that, remove the tags of 4 more Hershey’s Kisses and glue them to lip balm. We used Skittle flavored Lip Smackers, but you can use ANY kind of lip balm! When you are gluing on the chocolate, just remember that the glue comes off easily from the plastic lip balm container. The lip balm container won’t be ruined at all!

Next, attach the candy critter head to the lid of the lip balm container. Using either craft foam, construction paper, or felt, cut small ears and glue them onto the critter’s head.

Finally, attach a small pipe cleaner tail to the critter! Your candy critter is now complete and ready to enjoy. Gift them for Valentine’s Day or any time of year. These craft supplies are universal and you can mix and match the colors for any occasion.
