Strawberry Banana Dog Treats

This recipe is a delicious mixture of fresh (or frozen) strawberries, yogurt, and bananas made into paw prints and bones. You can always use a regular ice cube tray if you don’t have a paw print and bone mold (found here on Amazon). Your pup won’t mind!

Ingredients:

  1. Plain Greek yogurt – Flavored, sugary yogurts are not good for pets. Plain unsweetened regular yogurt will work too
  2. Sliced banana
  3. Sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen)

Instructions:

Combine Ingredients. Add the banana, strawberries, and yogurt to a blender or food processor. 

Blend the ingredients

Blend. Mix for 30-45 seconds until it reaches a well-blended, liquid consistency.

Pour. Transfer the liquid into a measuring cup with a spout, then slowly pour the mixture into each mold. Be careful not to overfill.

Pour the mixture into molds or ice cube trays

Recipe Tip

Once filled, gently shake the mold’s corners to ensure there are no bubbles or empty spots.

Strawberry Banana Dog Treats

Freeze. Place the mold in the freezer for 4-6 hours or until completely frozen. Keep them frozen until ready to serve.

Storage

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.

Notes

Storage – Keep frozen. Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month.
Note – Flavored, sugary yogurts are not good for pets, so be sure to use plain Greek yogurt.
Serving – Frozen treats will melt quickly, so serving them outside or in a food bowl is best.
