Pin It NowIngredients:
- Plain Greek yogurt – Greek yogurt has less lactose and may be more easily digested than plain. Plain unsweetened regular yogurt will work too.
- Organic peanut butter – Be sure that your peanut butter doesn’t include any artificial sweeteners like xylitol, which is toxic for dogs.
- Old-fashioned oats
Supplies:
- Dog Treat Mold (find them here) or an ice cube tray
- Spoon
- Measuring cups
- Microwave safe bowl
Instructions:
In a microwave-safe dish, heat peanut butter for 20-30 seconds until melted. Using a spoon, drizzle peanut butter into your silicone mold.
Place the silicone mold in the freezer for 5 minutes or until peanut butter is set. Remove it from the freezer and spoon Greek yogurt into each mold.
Sprinkle the oats on top of the yogurt and lightly press the oats down with your fingers. Place the mold in the freezer on a shelf or baking dish. Leave them in the freezer for 2 hours or so until completely frozen.
Storage
Keep the dog treats frozen until ready to serve. Store them in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months.
