Our super easy Baby Trail Mix isn’t just for babies! Stuffed with tasty cereal, freeze-dried strawberries, and everyone’s favorite yogurt bites, anyone can enjoy this snack mix recipe. The strawberries immediately soften when eating. This is recommended for babies who are already eating solids, as well as toddlers, big kids…. pretty much anyone because it’s DELICIOUS!

Baby Trail Mix
Kiddos are tough to feed sometimes. Yet, it’s SO exciting when babies explore new foods! This is not only a wonderful side to lunch for babies who are able to eat solids, it’s also a fantastic on-the-go snack. Whip it up in about 2 minutes, throw it into a zip-top baggie or snack holder, and you’re good to go! Even if you’re not packing a diaper bag, I PROMISE you will love Baby Trail Mix too.

My kids, now 11 and 12 still absolutely LOVE yogurt melts. Whenever we pass the in the store, they beg for them. I totally get it! They’re delicious little freeze-dried yogurt chips that melt in your mouth. Of course, bigger kids, like mine, can consume a lot more yogurt melts than babies and toddlers. This is a wonderful way to add pizzaz to the yogurt melts while filling hungry bellies at the same time.

Ingredients:
- Very Berry Cheerios
- Yogurt Melts
- Freeze Dried Strawberries

Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Kids are great at helping with this job! Not a ton of heavy mixing is needed, just some gentle stirs and tosses. It’s great to then place the mixture in some sort of air-tight container in order to seal in the freshness. This recipe will fit into one gallon-sized zip-top baggie, or in the desired storage container of choice.

When you are heading out, I recommend snack-sized zip-top baggies to quickly transport this Baby Trail Mix. Of course, snack containers, boxes, or other portable options work great too! Some of my followers have mentioned that they cut up the freeze-dried strawberries into smaller pieces for their kids, which s a great idea if needed. While they do get soft when you eat them, consider what “bite-sized” means for your kids (or you!).
