Ingredients:
- Instant Oats
- Brown sugar
- Granulated sugar
- Ground cinnamon
- Salt

Optional Add-On Ideas
- Dried fruits and berries
- Chocolate
- Nuts
- More spices like pumpkin spice or nutmeg
- Chia seeds
- Coconut flakes

Instructions:
Using a blender or food processor, blend 3 cups of the quick oats. Blending some of the oats will make the oatmeal have a creamier texture.

In a large mixing bowl, add the remaining 7 cups of quick oats, cinnamon, sugar, and salt. Then, mix in the 3 cups of blended oats on top. A full printable recipe and an interactive list of ingredients and instructions can be found at the end of this post!

Once fully mixed, scoop 1/2 cup of the oatmeal mixture into a zip-top bag. The snack-size baggies work very well for the instant oatmeal!

How to Make the Oatmeal
When you’re ready to make one of the instant oatmeal packets, add 3/4 cups of water to the oatmeal in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave the oatmeal for 1 minute (or until hot) and stir. Enjoy the brown sugar and cinnamon oatmeal alone, or add your favorite toppings!

This is an incredible idea. My question is. For a bigger serving. Can I put 1 cup of oats in a bag. Instead of just a 1/2 cup? With the additional add-ins? I think just a 1/2 cup would barely fill a cavity lol. But that’s just me. TIA. for sharing
