Watermelon Strawberry Smoothie
If you agree that the best thing about the warmer months ahead is the ability to eat watermelon and strawberries all day long, this will be your go-to summer smoothie. This Watermelon Strawberry Smoothie is easy to create in just a few minutes.
With just 3 ingredients, 1 minute, and 1 blender, this refreshing drink recipe comes together quickly. You’re going to love this beautiful and brightly colored fruit smoothie.
Watermelon Strawberry Smoothie Ingredients
-
Watermelon – is so naturally sweet and juicy, which makes it the perfect ingredient
-
Frozen Strawberries – this frozen fruit helps thicken the smoothie, like ice cubes.
-
Watermelon Juice – just a tiny bit of extra juice help this smoothie blend easily.
What else could you add to this smoothie? Smoothies are always wonderful with vanilla yogurt and quick oats! A blend of frozen fruit instead of just strawberries can also be used. The juice can be substituted with any kind of juice or milk (even almond milk!). You could also add protein powder. If you want to add an extra special twist to this drink for those 21 years of age and older, add vodka!
Watermelon juice can be found in any grocery store in the refrigerated juice aisle (by the orange juice). If you can’t find watermelon juice, you can substitute it with any other juice you prefer.
When summertime arrives and temperatures start to rise, I am all about cool and refreshing treats. Not only does this smoothie have a lovely color, but it also tastes incredible. Fast, easy, tasty, and super refreshing, this smoothie mixes up in minutes and makes the perfect after-school snack for the kiddos. Whether you’re running around at the beach, lake, or pool, a day in the sunshine needs a cold and hydrating refreshment!
