Tea Light Witches

Today I was at Wal-Mart for some random odds and ends. I got some sunscreen for an upcoming vacation, some window cleaner, etc. Suddenly, I found myself happily stuck in the Halloween aisle! I left with all of the craft supplies needed to make these witch tea lights! I love days like these…..

I gave her a big purple wart! EWWW…. but so necessary, right?

Since the pack of candles I bought came in a set of 4, I made both purple and black witch hats. The witches with the black hats got a purple wart and the witches with the purple hats got a black wart.

  • Googly eyes
  • Craft felt in black, purple, and yellow (1 sheet of each color and they are about 25 cents each)

  • After that, glue the hat to the top of the candle so that the hat hovers just above her eyes!
  • Cut a thin strip of yellow felt and place it along her hat (glue in the back).
  • Glue on a small yellow felt square over the yellow belt.
  • Finally, you’ll need to glue the string on the back so that the candle can be hung. I tied it in a bow at the top.
  • Glue the string to the back of the candle.
