Why didn’t I think of this before?! I whipped up these Buffalo Chicken Wraps using fresh chicken in 30 minutes and, well, I didn’t make enough! I should have doubled the recipe because they were THAT much of a hit. When my husband was in a Zoom meeting (in my home-office, by the way haha!), I snuck one of these wraps to the desk. He came out after his meeting asking if there was more! If you haven’t tried a Buffalo Chicken Wrap, this recipe is for you:) The leftovers are unbelievably good, you could even make a salad from it, and all of the ingredients are easy/inexpensive. WIN! Be sure to pin and save this easy recipe idea for when you need it ?
Buffalo Chicken Wraps
If you are in the market for a quick, easy, and super delicious weeknight meal, you have come to the right place. My favorite Buffalo Chicken Wrap includes juicy buffalo chicken layered on fresh lettuce and cheese, then topped with creamy dressing and wrapped tightly in a delicious flour tortilla. Wraps are so easy to make from home, and they’re more fun to eat than sandwiches, so my family loves them.
Buffalo Chicken Wraps are a perfect blend of your favorite buffalo chicken wings, all rolled up into a spicy handheld meal, complete with ranch both inside the wrap and on the side with extra lettuce, depending on how you like it! The result is a delicious wrap that’s bursting with flavor. The spiciness of the buffalo sauce and cool creaminess of the ranch is a combo to die for!
You can find all 6 ingredients at any grocery store at any time (even at times when we’re all at home like now). You’ll want large burrito size tortillas… or any size you can find right now. Can’t find tortillas? Make it as a salad or even a delicious sandwich with toasted bread. You will need buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing, tortillas, chicken, shredded lettuce, and shredded cheese.
You’ll use about 2-3 boneless skinless chicken breasts. You can cook or bake them however you prefer. Truthfully – the chicken breast I used was frozen this morning and I was able to thaw it by lunch time. Then, I boiled the chicken breasts for about 20 minutes. I like how soft and tender boiled chicken is for recipes like this. However, you can bake, BBQ, or pan sear your chicken however you prefer!
How to Make Buffalo Chicken Wraps
I cut the chicken breasts into small bite size pieces. You could do that, you could slice the chicken, or you could even shred the chicken. Whatever you prefer, you can’t go wrong. Once the chicken is cut, you’ll place it on a flour tortilla and drizzle it with ranch dressing. Mmmmmm…. So much flavor makes a wrap extremely satisfying! No dry boring wraps here people.
Anything with “buffalo” in the name immediately perks my ears up! I love the tangy, spicy flavors in my Buffalo Roll-Ups, my buffalo dip, and these Buffalo Chicken Wraps are so fresh and delicious. The spice level is mild because of the other ingredients, so more sauce if you want them spicier. Add more ranch if you want them creamer. Like the crunchiness of lettuce? Then add more lettuce to your wrap.
When I think buffalo chicken the first thing that comes to mind is buffalo wings but today we’ve made something so much better. These buffalo chicken wraps have all the tasty flavors of buffalo wings without all the added fat and calories.

Buffalo Chicken Wraps are completely delicious with spicy buffalo flavored chicken, fresh crispy lettuce, and ranch dressing all wrapped up in a soft flour tortilla. The whole dish is ready and on the table in 30 minutes. This is one of those recipes you can modify to your liking pretty quickly too. Add more or less chicken, skip the tortilla and make it into a salad with no problem. Exchange the ranch dressing for blue cheese dressing. You can skip (or hide) some of the ingredients with ease.
Buffalo Chicken Wraps

You Will Need
- 2 Cups of chicken (cooked and and cut/shredded)
- 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce
- Shredded lettuce
- Ranch dressing
- Shredded cheese
- 2-3 burrito size tortillas
Directions
- In a bowl, combine the cut/shredded chicken and the buffalo sauce. Add anywhere from 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce depending on preference
- Lay out 2-3 burrito size tortillas and split the buffalo flavored chicken evenly. 2 tortillas will make fuller wraps while 3 tortillas will make smaller wraps.
- Drizzle with desired amount of ranch dressing (I like a lot:)
- Top with shredded cheese and shredded lettuce
- Wrap the ingredients in the tortilla, cut in half, and serve
Optional: Serve with additional shredded lettuce and ranch on the side to accent the wrap. I love having more to dip and add to my wrap as I am eating.
DOUBLE THE RECIPE if you plan on feeding more than 2 people! This could be a nice lite lunch for 3 people using 3 tortillas, but if you’re feeding 4 or more, then you will definitely want to double the recipe. Any leftover buffalo chicken will be even better tomorrow!
